Netball
On Tuesday 20th May our year 5/6 Netball team represented us at the Blackburn & Darwen Netball Competition, held at St Bede’s High School.
Team Shad had earned their place in the finals after topping their group just 2 weeks ago with a series of impressive performances- and they certainly did not disappoint on the big day.
They played brilliantly throughout the tournament, winning 4 out of 5 games. It all came down to the final match with a chance to be crowned champions. Despite a valiant effort against last year’s winners, we narrowly missed out, finishing as runners up.
We could not be prouder of the team’s determination, teamwork and sportsmanship. An outstanding achievement! Well done Team Shad.
