What does worry & anxiety feel like?

- feeling a little scared

- sweaty / clammy hands, face, feet, etc

- tummy ache

- your brain feels like it is going very fast

- you keep thinking of something that makes you feel

- your thoughts often think of "but what if that bad thing happens", always thinking of the negatives.

- so many more!

What does worry & anxiety look like?

Worry and anxiety can sometimes be seen on someone. Remember not everyone feeling worried and anxious may look like all of these ideas, but may have some of them.

- tired (they may feel so worried that they struggle to sleep)

- trouble sleeping

- Being worried and anxious may make someone look angry because they can become fed up and frustrated with the world.

- they might be alone

- they might ask a lot of questions

- so many more!

Why might we feel worried and anxious?

What can we do to help us feel a little better?

1. Massage your hands.

Miss Norris' favourite! Use some nice smelling hand cream nd gentle massage your hands with it. Make sure to rub it all over each finger. Use your thumb to rub the palm of your opposite hand and then the back of your hand. Notice the smell of the hand cream and think about how nice the cream feels and smell. This helps us to take a minute to relax as well as make our hands feel better after washing them all the time because of coronavirus.
