Witton Park Athletics
On Monday, 24th June, 18 of our amazing pupils took part in the Witton Park Athletics event, and it was a fantastic evening. The children did a great job representing our school, showing off their skills and sportsmanship.
A lot of our children made it through to the final races, and several of them even brought home medals by the end of the night. It was clear how hard they had all worked, and it really paid off.
The support among the children was incredible. They were cheering and shouting for each other, making the evening even more special. It was lovely to see everyone having such a good time .
Overall, it was a wonderful evening, and we're all very proud of our young athletes. Great job, everyone!
Year 3 and 4 Sportshall Athletics
The year 3 and 4 athletics team went to OLSJ High School tonight to take part in the Sportshall Athletics Competition. Fantastic sportsmanship from them all, cheering on their team mates and encouraging each other throughout the competition. Well done to all the children that took part where they finished 3rd place.
A superb effort from all our year 5 and 6 athletics team who put on a great performance tonight and came second in the event. Every team member did our school proud in both the individual and team events.
