Shadsworth Junior V QEGS (Friendly)

Shadsworth football team went down to OLSJ on Friday night for a friendly football match against QEGS. They had a great game scoring 4 goals in the first half and 5 in the second half. Well done to all the boys and girls that took part. The children all

showed good sportsmanship throughout the game. 

Blackburn Rovers V Huddersfield @ Ewood Park

Our Kids Cup Winners enjoyed an afternoon at Ewood Park watching Blackburn Rovers against Huddersfield on Saturday 20th January  with Mr Baker.

Shadsworth Juniors  V Feniscowles Primary School

The year 5 and 6 boys went down to  OLSJ High School on Friday night and played a friendly against Feniscowles Primary School. It was a close match but in the final minute Feniscowles scored the winning goal making it 1-2 to them. Well done Fensicowles and Team Shad. A great game and sportsmanship. 

Gifted and Talented Tournament

Last Friday, Mr Baker took 4 children down to Blackburn Rovers Academy Training Ground to take part in a Gifted and Talented football Tournament where over a 100 young people took part.

The team played incredibly well and worked hard reaching the final and winning the competition. Well done Team Shad!

Boy's Jubilee Football 

On Tuesday ( 31st October) our boy’s football team competed in  the Jubilee Shield football competition which took place at St Bedes High School. 

The year 5 and 6 boys qualified to play in the final on the 7th November but unfortunately got knocked in the first round. A  massive well done to the lads that played. They showed resilience and a top effort in tough conditions.
