Eating breakfast gets the day off to a good start. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. But in the mad dash of school day mornings–making sure everyone is awake, dressed and arrive at school on time–can be a challenge worthy of an Olympic medal!
Breakfast helps children pay better attention in school and is another chance for children to consume key nutrients they need to grow, like calcium, complex carbohydrates and healthy fats.
Breakfast Club is available every day from 7.45am. Children should enter the club through the school hall doors on the playground. Children are provided with cereal and toast/bagel along with a drink.
The cost of breakfast club is £1 per day per child. If you pay weekly, you get one day for free so it's £4 per week.
Breakfast club is heavily subsidised by the school budget to keep the cost down for our families.
